We use positive reinforcement techniques to train dogs and believe in building a strong bond through love and patience.

Positive reinforcement is a training method that focuses on rewarding your pet for good behavior, rather than punishing bad behavior. Giving rewards when your pet obeys you or behaves well in specific ways encourages your pet to repeat these actions or behaviors when given the command. Good behavior becomes inextricably linked with a reward.

This training method has been associated with successful outcomes and good relationships between pets and pet parents.

I also incoporate the Train-Test-Train method from DogNostics.

* It can be used to teach a new skill or increase the difficulty of an existing skill.

* Train-test-train helps develop a strong foundation to build up our skills.

* We need to teach skills and concepts in the correct order.

* We need to train our dogs in fun short sessions.

* We need to ensure our dogs are successful.

Yes! We offer sessions for potential therapy dogs and testing for those interested in serving as a therapy dog team thru Canines for Christ.

AKC S.T.A.R puppy classes are comprised of 6 weeks that help you set a foundation for a great family dog. Each session is 50 minutes for 6 weeks.

Puppies should be under 8 months old or if under 35 pounds, then less than one year old. Please reach out if your puppy is older than 8 months.
